1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Island Heights Roofing and Paints ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Services
Island Heights Roofing and Paints provides roofing and painting services throughout Texas. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Residential and commercial roof installation, repair, and maintenance
- Interior and exterior painting
- Preventive repairs and maintenance programs
- Free consultations and service estimates
3. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Final pricing may vary based on:
- Material costs at time of service
- Scope of work changes requested by the customer
- Unforeseen damage or site conditions discovered during the job
Any required pricing updates will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
4. Payment Terms
- 30% deposit required to reserve job and schedule work
- Progress payments may apply for multi-phase or high-value projects
- Final balance is due upon job completion
- Accepted payment: credit/debit card, Zelle, check, or bank transfer
- Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly fee
5. Cancellation Policy
- No fee if cancelled 7 or more days before scheduled service
- 10% of total cost if cancelled within 3–7 days of service
- 25% of total cost if cancelled less than 72 hours before service
- Orders with special materials: cost of materials plus 15% restocking fee
6. Warranties
We offer limited warranties on roofing and painting services, as outlined in our Warranty Information document. All warranties are subject to exclusions and terms defined at the time of contract signing.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. We are also not responsible for delays or damage caused by third parties, subcontractors, or unforeseen circumstances.
Acts of God: Warranty coverage and service liability do not extend to events such as hail, lightning, floods, high winds, tornadoes, fires, or other natural disasters.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised "Last Updated" date.
